This fortnight's theme was Dark Hearts.  This theme was open to interpretation, and the group was invited to wander in to the heart of darkness and using evil or heart-break themed polishes, using polishes with heart glitters, nail art etc.

We had a few unique takes on the theme, even though we didn't have many participants this fortnight. Hopefully  more people will participate next week, as the AIPAS Facebook page has started featuring manis from the themes, starting this week.

Powder Perfect

Powder Perfect has reopened after their break, and launched their Christmas Collection for 2014. Available from http://www.powderperfect.com.au/collections/christmas-collection.

Grace-full Nail Polish

New on the Aussie Indie scene, Grace-full Nail Polish have opened with three collections, The Fellowship collection, Nail That Accent! and the Christmas Collection 2014.  Theresa gave us some information about the collections below.

"The collection that started it all is The Fellowship collection, it has 10 polishes. My family love Lord of the Rings and my 20 yr old son wanted me to make polishes based on the Lord of the Rings. It's been a great adventure to do together and while he's a 20 yr young adult male he had very definite opinions on the polishes. He hasn't been scared to tell me if the colour is wrong or he doesn't like a glitter - sometimes it was super annoying but in the end he was right and the changes worked.

Nail That Accent! is a collection for accent nails. I made this collection as I know as a nail art addict just how hard it can be to find that perfect glitter to use as an accent nail. The majority are solid colour glitters and there are some colourful microglitters as well. They are made to be used with undies/base colours, as I wanted to add the pop of glitter to a nail design without adding the bulkiness it can take to get a fully opaque glitter nail.

Christmas collection 2014 - I didn't want to do just traditional Christmas polishes so I had a bit of fun and came up with these, hopefully most of them can get some wear all year around."
