AIPAS NEWSLETTER - 3 January 2014

WHO IS AIPAS?

The Australian Indie Polish Appreciation Society was created with one simple goal, to help promote and share the love of Aussie Indie polish brands.

You can join in on the fun and keep track of release and sale info and giveaways by joining the AIPAS Facebook Group.  If joining a community isn't your style, follow this blog by GFC or Bloglovin for the highlights. When posting to Instagram or Pintrest, be sure to tag us using #AIPAS and you might see your mani in the next newsletter!

The AIPAS mod team consist of Cassie Goodwin (Reluctant Femme), Nicole Wearmouth, Relle Kins (Lazy Lacquerista) and Teneil Masters (Shades of Phoenix). You can email the mod team at aussieindiemods at gmail.com or send us a private FB message.

WEEKLY THEME

Between Christmas and New Year, I sadly neglected my Weekly Theme duties, and let the community just run wild. Here's some of the lovely mani's they decided to share.

@lilyandjinks shared this utterly adorable Christmas mani featuring polishes from Powder Perfect.

@nailoveology shared this beautiful NYE mani featuring Shades of Phoenix polishes.

Our own Relle from the Mod Team shared this sparkly stunner from Nailbark Lacquer, called New Year's Eve.

NEW RELEASES

Another newbie label on the scene, Petal Polish, has set up shop over at Etsy with a delightful debut range and more shades launching on 7th January. Be sure to go and check them out!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Most indie stores are up and running again after the Christmas break, with the following exceptions;
  • Celestial Cosmetics - reopens 6 January
  • Shades of Phoenix - reopening mid January
  • Powder Perfect - reopens mid January
Most of the Boxing Day and Christmas sales are now closed, but Loki's Lacquer is still offering 25% off with the code BOXINGDAY until 10th January.

Aussie Indie brands, please remember to send your release info and swatch/marketing shots through to aussieindiemods at gmail.com for inclusion in the newsletter and calendar.  You can also PM Relle Kins on Facebook. Unfortunately the group's feed moves too quickly to note each and every post, so we rely on you to drop us a line.

That's it for this week!!
And that's a wrap for the week!
GLITTER FOR ALL!!
