AIPAS NEWSLETTER - 15 March 2014

19th Edition

Welcome to the Australian Indie Nail Polish Appreciation Society Newsletter for this week!  AIPAS is a Facebook group of brands and fans that have come together to share the love of Australian Indie Polish.  If you're only stumbling across this newsletter from the web, please drop by and check out our Facebook group for shared swatches, up to date release previews and our weekly challenge.

Cassandra was merciless this week, and gave us a Yellow theme.  Due to the lack of yellow in everyone's stashes, we included polishes with yellow glitters, and "yellow" gold polishes.

Theresa Carter (Blog: It's All About the Polish) with Bella Belle - Tinsel and Powder Perfect - Mr Cheapskates
Christine David (IG @serenitynails_) with Shades of Phoenix - Apollo (over Bio Sculpture Gel - Totally Topaz)

Relle Kins (Blog: Lazy Lacquerista) with Lilypad Lacquer - I Am Miss Haughty Taughty (over OPI Solitaire)
Jae Harrison (IG @procrastinatingpolishr) with Miss Ashleigh - And It Was All Yellow topped with Sayuri Nail Lacquer - Galaxy Magic with a matte topcoat

Tara Capewell (IG: @lokislacquer) with Loki's Lacquer - Bunsen & Beakers

Stacey Meldrum with Two Birds - Fairy Bread
Bec Dawber with Dead Set Babes - Stephanya Bananya (over China Glaze Sun Kissed)

Rebecca Lavender-Roberts (Blog: Polished Peripherals) with Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Gossamer Dust

All photos published are done so with the permission of the poster.  If you would like to see your photos included in the weekly theme, please put your name on the Permission - Photo use in AIPAS newsletter file.

Next week's theme is INSPIRED BY A BOOK.  Remember our themes are pretty loose - if you don't have a polish actually inspired by a book, use indies to create nail art inspired by a book.

Loki's Lacquer have announced that their latest release, the Really Really Really Good Looking Collection based on the Zoolander film, will be the last before the store is closed.

Two Birds Lacquer launched today, with their debut collection, Childhood Treats available through Etsy.  Check the Announcements section of the newsletter for social media links.

Dead Set Babes have launched 2 new collections this week - a core creme range and the Got Game? Collection featuring polishes inspired by retro games like Pac Man & Space Invaders. They've also added free shipping for all orders over $50 within Australia.
